In order to make informed decisions, security teams and other stakeholders within an organization must have all the relevant threat intel and analyses at hand. To achieve this, Cyware has bolstered its advisory sharing and collaboration platform, Collaborate (CSAP), with the newIntel Library. The new capabilities in version 3.7 allow sharing communities (ISAC/ISAO), MSSPs, and GSIs to provide members and managed customers on their Collaborate Member Portal access to a repository of enriched threat intelligence from Cyware's Intel Exchange (CTIX) platform.

What’s New?

An Admin in Collaborate can choose to turn on access to Intel Library for specific users in their Member Portal. The Intel Library provides a collection of threat intelligence, including indicators, vulnerabilities, malware, threat actors, attack patterns, campaigns, and other relevant objects. It is presented in a concise view within the Collaborate Member Portal.

Using Intel Library, Collaborate members will be able to:

  • Access a consolidated collection of threat intel from Cyware's Intel Exchange (CTIX) platform and view all the available details about a specific threat intel object, including its Confidence Score, TLP, and more.

  • Visualize specific threat intel relations in different graphical layouts to highlight the associated threat intel objects.

  • Search for specific threat intel in the Intel Library and use the Saved Searches feature to quickly access frequently searched threat intel.

Benefits for MSS Customers and ISAC Members

  • Wider Access to Threat Intel: Intel Library ensures Collaborate members have access to relevant, enriched threat intel from Cyware's Intel Exchange (CTIX) platform without any additional overhead.
  • Advanced Analysis Capabilities: It also allows members to perform further analysis and take security actions by visualizing the relations between different threat intel objects.
  • Ecosystem Resilience: Intel Library serves as a new channel for threat intel sharing to help organizations strengthen the security postures of members in their sharing community.

Summing Up

The Intel Library module in Collaborate (CSAP) v3.7 equips security analysts and other users with an additional means of accessing threat intel for improved threat analysis and mitigation. It allows ISACs, MSSPs, and GSIs to empower all their stakeholders to achieve greater situational awareness and cyber resilience within their ecosystem.
